Press release

New owners for Pedit and Norsk Nettskole.

The Norwegian Learning Management System (LMS) Pedit is sold to employees and partners in Norway and the Netherlands. The operation of courses and classes is also transferred to employees from July 1st 2017.

Two new companies are created to continue operations.

PedIT AS in Aurskog, Norway, is a new company taking over operations, development and sales of the LMS Pedit. The company is owned by multiple companies and investors in Norway and the Netherlands. A worldwide reseller agreement is signed between PedIT AS and the Dutch company Integrat-Ed.

The daily operations will continue as before for the foreseeable future, but the new owners are also exploring new markets for their product.

Norsk Nettskole AS in Aurskog, Norway, has received the name and rights of the former company and will continue offering courses and training in the field of online education. Pedit’s ideas are developed by the collective expertise of Norsk Nettskole.

The two businesses collaborate closely and share their registered office near Oslo, Norway.

Pedit in new directions – “mobile learning” and app

The LMS Pedit is used by many primary schools and organisations. The new ownership structure will allow the company to target new markets, and they will now be exploring what Pedit can do for both public and private enterprises.

“Learning where you are” through nano-learning and micro lessons are new trends in workplace training. Pedit is developing modules that make five minutes on your phone during work hours as relevant a tool for learning as long sessions in front of your computer. Developing integrated connections to other software is another priority. These new priorities will benefit Pedit’s existing customers as new functions are added to the portfolio.
